Gold Craft Jewellery, a Calgary jewellery store, was established by Mr. Adam Koscianski and his wife Barbara in 1996. This retail jewellery store boasts a large variety of beautiful and unique jewellery pieces for all occasions. The Story of Gold Craft
Inspired to become a Jeweller by his goldsmith brother Peter, Adam became passionate for the design and creation of beautiful jewellery at an early age. Adam became a Goldsmith’s apprentice in 1978 in Europe and received his diploma as a Journeyman goldsmith in 1981. He continued to study under renowned European Jewellers until completing his diploma as a Master Goldsmith in 1984.
In 1990 Adam, his wife and children immigrated to Winnipeg, Canada. Adam continued doing trade work for jewellery stores in the area. In 1994 the family moved to Calgary where Adam continued to produce custom designed jewellery. In 1996 Adam started doing trade as Gold Craft Jewellers.
First Retail Location Opens
Adam and Barbara opened their first retail location in 2000 where customers have quickly learned the benefits of working directly with the owners. Unlike the big “chain jewellery stores” you will be greeted at Gold Craft by one of the Proprietors. There are no commissioned sales agents on the retail floor. You will not feel any pressure in this quaint jewellery store. Clients returning year after year are pleasantly surprised when they are greeted as friends at Gold Craft Jewellery.

“People who need jewellery repairs are often surprised that the repairs are done in store, and many times while the customer waits” explains Adam. He further explained, “Large chain stores typically send your expensive jewellery off site to have it repaired.”
